Seamstress-Scott Sewing Services is a friendly and local business based in Guildford, Surrey and owned by me, Vanessa Scott.

I have been sewing from a very early age and learned my first skills from my mother who was a court dressmaker. Later I studied textiles at the Open College of Art and have been busy developing a successful home-based sewing business, working on various projects including home accessories, traditional patchwork quilts, bespoke dressmaking and everyday clothing repairs and alterations.
My customer base has been built mainly by word of mouth throughout the local area and I am contactable via email.
I would love to be able to offer a phone contact but I am profoundly deaf and unable to use a phone. This having been said I am a great communicator and have no trouble with face to face conversations (some would say the problem is stopping me talking!) so please don’t be put off making contact I check my email regularly and will always reply to any enquiries.
